The iconic form is folk in treatment by the use of a commonplace material like clay, covered simply with a layer of pigment and decorative details drawn in using a drawing pen or brush.

The main form is contemporary in outlook through the use of the modern material like fiberglass reinforced resin and the simplification of the mother form takes on a new sophistication through the employment of space within the body giving a hint of the nature and technique of the material.

The final finish is that of acrylic paint and a final coat of varnish. I have used metallic colors for the inbuilt figures of deities so as to provide a relief.

The suggestive nature of the sculpture is intended to evoke individual responses.
